Better information →  better results underlies the LEA DRS Program approach to traffic safety. As one aspect of providing road users with better information, this section of the website provides traffic related articles and news stories. Earlier articles in this series can be found in the Phase One Traffic News section of this website.

It is our intent to provide up to date information, however it is important to note that the information was correct when first uploaded to this website. Note however that vehicles, traffic rules, roads, drivers and knowledge change over time.

CAA's 2010 Driving Costs brochure is designed to offer consumers a comprehen-
sive look at the price of owning a vehicle in Canada. The brochure explores the costs of such things as maintenance, fuel, tires, insurance, license fees and registration, depreciation, and financing. The Driving Costs brochure also features an interactive tool that allows consumers to input and calculate their own vehicle costs. To access this tool, please open the PDF file of the brochure and go to page 10. Costs can be entered into the chart on this page and printed.
